A New, More Clean Looking PotluckSoup.com
If you’ve been visiting PotluckSoup.com for a while, you might have noticed a few design changes. You might have also noticed we’ve been blocked on Google searches, unfortunately. Fortunately, social links still work. I’ve restructured some of the headers and the sitemap to hopefully help this issue.
On the design side of things, there’s been some notable revisions. The site should be easier to navigate and the text should be easier to read on mobile now. A few defunct pages have been removed. I’ve also made most of the landing pages a little more discreet for viewers, and to maybe appease search engines a bit. Explicit content is now more tucked away in the short stories, flash fiction, and commissions pages.
Day-to-day posts will still be on social but make sure to bookmark PotluckSoup.com.

I’m spinning off KalliopeBard to be a place where people can see all my art, writing, and illustration with the NSFW parts filtered out. While I’m sure there will be some “rated R” content there, it will be a lot less explicit than what you see on PotluckSoup. Generally, it would be considered material appropriate for the “young adult” demographic.
I’m excited to explore some new worlds and stories using KalliopeBard. I’ll be using the new account to launch an absolutely massive amount of D&D material that I have created over the past 3–4 years. Hundreds of drawings, character sheets, maps, and entire sourcebooks will be posted!
- Kalliopebard.bsky.social is the best way to see new SFW art and get day-to-day updates, for the time being.
- I’ll be using Ko-Fi to publish materials instead of this site. That way people can access it safely without being exposed to explicit content. Follow me over there at ko-fi.com/kalliopebard.
- This account is, admittedly, also a failsafe. There is a major push against erotic art right now, and it’s good to have a backup account. Make sure to follow me just in case my main PotluckSoup account(s) get banned.
Notably, you’ll likely see PotluckSoup reposing KalliopeBard stuff but you’ll never see KalliopeBard reposing PotluckSoup stuff. So, follow KalliopeBard on Bluesky. If you’re feeling generous, leave a tip on Ko-fi? The standard $3 tip is, let me check, half a coffee these days. Oof.

Launching A Patreon
As time passes, I’m more and more able to commit to drawing and writing for you all. In the next month I’ll be soft launching my Patreon. Having a PotluckSoup Patreon, even with a few patrons contributing a few dollars each month, will help me devote more and more of my time to creating art. While I am still finalizing the tiers, my patrons will likely be able to get the following.
- Access to a tidy archive of 6+ years of art.
- A feed uninterrupted by the incessant insanity of a modern social media hellscape.
- Early access to stories, shorts, flash fiction, and illustrations.
- High resolution art
- Behind the scenes concepts, sketches, WIPs, early drafts, and unpublished work.
- Critiques and feedback on patron-created drawings or stories.
- Discounts on products (of course)
- Help drive and have input on what stories get published.

Project Updates
I have numerous short stories, sequential, and posts planned for both PotluckSoup and KalliopeBard. These four are the most substantial projects in progress right now, ranked by how far along they are —
- High Fantasy Novel (KalliopeBard) — A high fantasy swords and sorcery gothic romance with a fun polyamorous twist. Currently 60k+ words into a rough draft. Expecting the final draft to be around 80–90k.
- A Porta Vermelha Novella (PotluckSoup) — A steamy urban fantasy featuring Jenni the Dullahan, her allies, and a new creepy adversary. Currently 20k words into rough draft, expecting around 40–50k when finished.
- A Full Gothic Fantasy D&D 5e Campaign (KalliopeBard) — Gothic fantasy with a significant anti-fascist and ant-corruption theme? How unusual and unexpected in 2026. This project will be the second major sourcebook I’ve published after releasing A Midsummer Night’s War, for free, in 2024. I’m working on and playtesting the new campaign right now. Progress is a little harder to track on this, but there are 100k+ words, 30+ character sheets, and 10+ maps. Expect that to shrink with editing down to under 100k. Good editing goes a long way on campaigns and sourcebooks.
- Emma & Sal’s Second Date (PotluckSoup) — After their adventure at the Grand Gala, Emma and Sal meet up at a kinky underground concert. Currently sitting at 7k words, aiming for around 20–30k for a proper novella-length story. I feel like I’ve gotten a lot better at anatomy since the release of Emma and Sal’s First Date, so I’m excited to create new illustrations for this
That’s it for the updates for today. Conventional blog writing advice online says that I should end this with a call to action. I should tell you all to do a specific thing. I think you all should go, find one of your favorite artists, and tell them that you care about what they create. Being a creative is really weird right now and they could probably use the love.
Also, give them $8. That’s enough, for now, to buy a large fry plus a large iced tea at a local fast food joint.
